EDITOR'S NOTES  
    Welcome to issue number two! Hopefully all of you that were 
here for issue one are going to notice it's getting better, and 
for you readers just starting, the best is yet to come!
    In between these issues, the Gazette has become somewhat official! 
That means both the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and their management 
endorse me! I had the pleasure of meeting the band recently, as
you will see in the pictures in this issue. Both Jeff and Jimmie 
couldn't get over the fact there was a fanzine on them, and Jimmie 
asked if the band could help out! He needed to ask? Jimmy wanted 
my signiture on the first issue- I said- "Wait- you're the star 
here, not me!" Quite an interesting experience, I'm telling you.
   For this issue we have a new album to review, The Rest of The 
Dream, and I want you to push your stations to play it! more on 
videos, collector$ items, even your letters! Keep sending them!
    Before I forget, I have many people to thank: Fred Majka, 
for sending me articles that will be useful; Mark Bliesener at 
the Chuck Morris Entertainment company for his support and the 
reason I'm still here; John and Andrea Sheridan and the Walshes 
of Staten Island for their hospitality at the Bottom Line; 
Yvette Cadeaux of Tower Records' Pulse! for the publicity;
Titus Oaks for carrying this at their store; and you the reader! 
    Don't forget to write, submit ads, articles, anything!
